Delivery times are calculated from the moment your order leaves our warehouse, which we will notify you of via email. Orders placed after 16:00h on Fridays will be processed for shipping starting the following Monday.
During promotional periods (e.g. the days surrounding Black Friday), shipments may experience slight delays due to the increased number of orders being processed. In some cases, and depending on product availability, our customer service team will contact you to give you a solution and inform you of the delivery time once the product is available.
The courier company usually delivers during business hours, but if you need a specific delivery time you can indicate it in the order comments. This does not guarantee 100% that this will be the case as it depends on the timetables and routes of the transport company.

Palmitoylethanolamide is known for being characteristic of animal structures; it was first discovered in egg yolk. This means that many commercially available PEA supplements are not suitable for vegan diets, as they are derived from animal sources.

The challenge of obtaining PEA through diet | Supplementation as the only practical option
A common question is… Can I get PEA from the foods in my regular diet?
The answer is yes, but there’s an important limitation.
PEA is found in a variety of food sources, ranging from 950 µg/g of fresh weight in soy lecithin to 7.2 µg/g in roasted coffee, 0.14 µg/g in black-eyed peas, and less than 10 ng/g of dry weight in apples, lentils, and potatoes. It is also present in human milk, with levels ranging from ≈0.1 to ≈3 nM.
The catch is that, to put this into perspective, PEA has been used in clinical trials at doses ranging from 300 to 1200 mg per day. This would require daily consumption of 0.32-1.3 kg of soy lecithin, 42-170 kg of roasted coffee, or 2200-8700 kg of black-eyed peas.
Researchers suspect that the safety profile of such consumption, in addition to being completely impractical, would be less satisfactory than that observed with PEA in supplement form.

Important information about PEA if you’re getting a blood test
Palmitoylethanolamide is a fatty acid derivative, so you should keep the following in mind, as reported in scientific studies:
After a dose of 300 mg of micronised PEA in humans, an approximate doubling of blood lipid levels was observed two hours after administration, returning to normal levels at 4 and 6 hours.
Therefore, if you’re getting a blood test to evaluate lipid levels (triglycerides and cholesterol, among others), inform your doctor, as they may recommend not taking the supplement the night before the test to avoid ‘false’ results in your blood lipid levels.
