Pulmonaria officinalis is a perennial plant native to Europe and Asia, known for its unique beauty and traditional uses. Although its flowers and leaves are striking, a key part of its value is in its roots. The roots of lungwort are thick and robust. These roots have been collected and studied throughout history due to their natural components.

Why use the root?

We use lungwort root as the native element in our extract due to its high concentration of bioactive compounds that accumulate in this part of the plant. Throughout its life cycle, the root acts as a reservoir of nutrients, phytochemicals, and other phytoelements, making it a powerful and stable source of unique properties and characteristics. By extracting and concentrating these compounds, the lungwort complex extract can harness the potency the root offers in a more concentrated form, which wouldn’t be possible with other parts of the plant.
